Messenger — SMS Home Launcher application (the “App”)

Effective date: 3 September 2026  ·  Last updated: 3 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to reflect exactly how the App behaves.

The App is provided by B Wind (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described here, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. On-Device Data: Your Messages, Contacts & Calls

The App can act as your default SMS/MMS messaging app and as a home-screen launcher. To provide these core features, it accesses the following information on your device:

  • SMS & MMS messages — reading, receiving, sending, and displaying your text messages and conversations.
  • Contacts — reading and (when you choose to add or edit a contact) writing contact details, so conversations show names and you can start new ones.
  • Call information — the phone number of an incoming or outgoing call, used only to show the optional after-call summary screen if you enable it.
  • Installed apps — the list of launchable apps on your device, so the launcher can display, categorize, and search them.
We do not upload, transmit, sell, or share this data. Your message content, contacts, call numbers, and app list are processed only on your device to make the App work. This information is never sent to our servers, advertising partners, or any third party, and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Features that rely on this access are described in Section 4. Optional features (after-call summary, app-install notifications) are off by default and only run when you turn them on in Settings.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the App and by the third-party SDKs it uses (see Section 8):

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • Device model, manufacturer, and operating-system version.
  • App version and basic device/configuration settings (e.g., language).
  • Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), used for advertising and measurement.
  • App-usage information — screens or features accessed, and the date, time, and duration of sessions.
  • Diagnostic and crash information (to detect and fix technical problems).

We do not collect precise GPS location through the App.

3. Information You Choose to Provide

Some support or service features may let you voluntarily provide information such as your email address or phone number — for example, when you contact us for help. We use it only for the purpose for which you provided it (such as responding to your request). Please do not submit information that is not necessary for the feature you are using.

4. Permissions & Why We Request Them

The App requests only the permissions needed for its features. Sensitive permissions are used solely on your device for the functions below and never for advertising.

5. How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
  • Improve features, performance, stability, and usability.
  • Understand general, aggregated usage patterns.
  • Detect, diagnose, and fix technical problems and crashes.
  • Protect the App and users against fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Send important service-related communications when necessary.
  • Display advertisements and measure advertising performance (see Section 6).

6. Advertising & Consent

The App is supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may process your Advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad-interaction data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. Ads never use the content of your messages, your contacts, or your call information.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App presents a consent request using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are shown. You may grant or decline consent, and you can change your choice at any time through the in-app privacy options. Where you do not consent, only non-personalized ads (which rely on contextual rather than personal data) are requested.

Your advertising controls

  • You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device.
  • Where the App offers an in-app option to disable ads or manage consent, you can use it at any time.

7. Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage and advertising performance. This may involve a Firebase installation identifier, the Advertising ID, and event/usage data, processed under Google’s Firebase privacy terms. We use analytics data in aggregate to improve the App; we do not use it to identify you personally.

8. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following trusted providers to operate the App. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Play Services — core platform services. Privacy policy
  • Google AdMob — advertising and measurement. Details
  • Google Analytics for Firebase — usage analytics. Privacy policy
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of our own service notifications (see Section 9). Privacy policy

The App also retrieves its configuration from our own server. Such requests necessarily convey your device’s IP address to that server; they do not include your messages, contacts, or call information.

9. Push Notifications

With your notification permission, we may send service-related push notifications (such as product notices) via Firebase Cloud Messaging. To do this, a device registration token is generated and may be stored by us to deliver messages to your device. You can turn off notifications for the App at any time in your device settings.

10. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only:

  • With the service providers listed in Section 8, to perform services on our behalf.
  • In aggregated or anonymized form that does not identify you.
  • To comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.
  • To protect the security, integrity, rights, or safety of our services, our users, or others, and to investigate fraud or abuse.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Serving personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain laws. See Section 12 for how to opt out.

11. Data Retention

Your messages, contacts, and call information remain on your device and are retained by the device, not by us. Information processed by our providers (such as analytics and advertising data) is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, then deleted or anonymized in accordance with each provider’s retention practices.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. We honor these rights consistent with applicable law.

Everyone

  • Manage or revoke app permissions in your device settings.
  • Reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
  • Turn off notifications, or uninstall the App to stop all further data collection on that device.

EEA / UK (GDPR)

Our legal bases for processing are: your consent (for personalized advertising and analytics), performance of the service you request (contract), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App. You have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” certain identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of your information, and the right to opt out of such sharing. To opt out, decline advertising consent in the App, opt out of ad personalization in your device settings, or contact us (Section 17). We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 17.

14. Data Deletion Requests

Because your messages, contacts, and call data live only on your device, you can delete them directly in the App or by uninstalling it. For any information held by us or our providers (such as a push token or analytics data), you may request deletion by emailing on bwindsolution@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

15. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by those providers.

16. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Where a higher minimum age of digital consent applies in your country, that age applies to you.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date; material changes may be highlighted in the App. Please review this page periodically.

By installing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described, subject to applicable law and, where required, your explicit consent.
